We have some wild weather in Colorado. Here's an example: The two pictures you see
were both taken in March, just two days
apart. In the first one it was beautiful, sunny
and warm, about
70 degrees, so nice that we decided to have a picnic out in the backyard.
Two days later there was a huge snowstorm, dropping about
a foot and a half of snow.
It was so heavy and wet that it really
weighed all the trees
down. That's what the second
picture is -
a birch tree in our front yard,
bent all the way down so that the top actually
touched our front
doorstep. I had to go out with
a broom handle and
whack all the snow
off of our trees so they didn't break, which was hard work.
Shoveling all that snow was
also a good
workout.
I prefer the kind of weather in the first picture!
